Who is Gwennie and What is "Gwennie's Gifts"?

Sometimes, the unthinkable happens and cancer attacks an 18 month-old infant.

Gwendelyn Marra was found to have a malignant tumor on her liver in April of 2013. She was diagnosed with neuroblastoma, the most common cancer in infancy. She is Stage three and
considered high risk. She has currently just finished her third of chemotherapy and has
also undergone several surgeries including a stem cell transplant, radiation, and
immunotherapy. She travels to both Robert Wood Johnson and Children's Hospital of
Philadelphia for her treatments.

"Gwennie's Gifts" is a group of friends and colleagues of the Marra family. We have come together to organize an event to help with the devastating financial responsibilities that a young family experiences when their child IS in need of dramatic medical attention. We are currently soliciting goods and
services for our Marra-Thon Fundraiser scheduled for Saturday, September 14, 2013 at
Gold's Gym in Howell, NJ. All donations will directly benefit the Marra family, namely
Gwendelyn.

The Marras have chosen the name "Gwennie's Gifts" for this foundation so that when
Gwendelyn is well, she too may passon the amazing prayers and gifts that were given to
her.
